Virgil was born September 18, 1969. He attended Grambling State University and majored in Criminal Justice. A Santa Rosa Police Academy graduate, he is employed as a police officer in a moderately sized east bay city and has been for the past 12 years with a total of 15 years experience in law enforcement. Virgil and his family currently live in Fairfield, Ca.

Virgil has been coaching at the ASA "A" level for the past three years and brings an abundance of coaching experience from other sports including soccer, football, and baseball. He has been dealing with young people in many capacities for a number of years and encourages the young ladies of this organization to believe in themselves, believe in each other, and not to wait for an opportunity, but to create an opportunity. His ability to motivate and to help others achieve is his strongest attribute which he transfers to the softball diamond and to every member of the team.
